I believe that there must be more people out there who have started to think the
same way as I do. That life is going too fast, that we have lost contact with the
earth and the fundamental things that life is about. That we are wasting too much
of our time in front of the TV or chasing after things that don't really matter
at all. I am in the lucky position of being able to something about this, doing something for the planet, for nature and for the community. Without
community, family and sharing, life means nothing. We all need to take time out
and get back to the fundamentals of life and there is nothing more fundamental
than working on the land and growing your own food; we all have to eat. I have
a real concern that people who loose contact with the land, who go from
building to building via their car, who never get wet with rain or feel the wind on their
face and who live their lives through watching the TV will not care about the
planet. My ambition is that Organic Veg Club will do
something positive to bring people back to nature and the things that really
matter in life.
